NEW TO CROSS COUNTRY SKIING?

Getting Started:  You start out walking/shuffling along, like walking with trekking poles.  Then you gradually hit your stride and will soon be 'gliding' along over the snow!

Need Some Help?  We offer group and private Ski Lessons for beginners.

Need Gear? We will not be offering daily ski rentals this season, although you can rent gear with a ski school lesson.

Area Gear Rental Options

Come Prepared:  Unlike downhill skiing, once you get moving on XC skis, you will warm up quickly.  Wear gloves, and dress in layers so as you get moving, you can adjust temperatures. There are no lifts, so you will be generating a lot of heat.

Is it Expensive?  The absolute best thing (besides the awesome trails) is that Ogden Nordic is affordable.

SNOWSHOEING

A GREAT WAY EXPERIENCE THE WINTER TRAILS!

Snowshoeing is like walking with big shoes on your feet.  We have groomed trails so you can get into the woods and some beautiful overlooks. You can also get off the groomed trails and into the 'deep' stuff! Snowshoeing doesn't require the skills or effort that may be needed for Cross Country Skiing.

FAT BIKING

Ogden Nordic purchased a special groomer for the Fat Bike Trails, and we groom 10 miles of challenging trails with loops for every ability level.  Over the past few years, we've learned the art of grooming the bike trails and have found that biking in the early morning is usually the best when the trails are frozen and firm!

Rumor has it that these Fat Bike trails are the best around!

EXPERIENCED SKIERS

Ogden Nordic has some of the finest groomed trails in the West.  We groom up to 20 miles of trails for both classic and skate skiing. The trails are hilly and challenging, and you will find a lot of variety no matter what direction you go.

Check out our trail info here

We offer group and private  Ski Lessons for advanced skiers in both skate and classic techniques with PSIA instructors.
