ABOUT
Ogden Nordic is a nonprofit organization with a mission to promote cross country skiing, snowshoeing and snow-biking in Northern Utah through world class grooming, dedicated volunteers, trails planning, construction and maintenance, all levels of instruction and friendly social gatherings.
We groom 15-20 miles of trails for Nordic Skiing, and about 10 miles for snowshoeing and fat biking. We operate a top level PSIA certified ski school.
HOURS OF OPERATION: Trails are always open and accessible. Trail hosts are at the South Gate entrance Fri-Sun 9am - 3pm to provide information about the trails and answer questions.
LOCATION AND DIRECTIONS: We are located in Weber County's North Fork Park. The Nordic Center and main entrance are at the South Gate at the end of 5950 N. in Liberty (4150 East 5950 North, Liberty, UT).

WHAT TO EXPECT: Ogden Nordic has a small Nordic Center (yurt) located at the South Gate of North Fork Park. The Yurt will not be open this season, so here is no indoor escape from the weather. There are picnic tables in a covered/somewhat protected area about 1/4 mile up the trail from the Nordic Center/parking area in the Ball Field. There are two porta-potties in the parking area - there is no running water.
On weekends there will be volunteer "trail hosts" at the South Gate entrance to provide information about the trails and assistance with equipment, etc.
WHAT TO WEAR: Cross country skiing and snowshoeing are NOT like downhill skiing. Once you get moving you will warm up, so wear layers to allow you to adjust. A hat and gloves are essential and medium weight wool socks work well.
Most of our operations are accomplished with volunteers. If you are interested in being part of an incredible volunteer team, contact us.
